Rum is made from sugarcane byproducts or sugarcane juice and thus has a sweet taste – I love rum and Old Monk is definitely my brand. Rum is my favourite hard drink for winters and if you observe my blog, you will get to know that mostly I use rum for making cocktails for my parties. I believe, rum can be used in various ways and thus I depend on this versatile drink each time I arrange a cocktail party. My Apple Rum Cocktail Smoothie won me many appreciations and here I am with another rum delight and hope you all will like it.
This time it is with the berry that we all love, Cranberry 🙂 I have added mint with this bold beauty to enhance its flavour and look. Here’s the recipe.
- 60 ml dark rum
- 200 ml cranberry juice
- A handful of mint leaves
- 2-3 ice cubes
- Mix rum and cranberry juice together.
- Crush the mint leaves a little bit and add it to the drink.
- Let it set in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour and the let the mint spread its flavour.
- Add ice cubes and serve chilled.
This is a super simple yet tasty cocktail option that you can definitely try for you next house party. Do let me know how you like it in comments. You can also tag me on Instagram using the handle @when_a_bong_cooks.
